Easter Seals Maine -
Easter Seals Maine is part of a four-state organization,
including ME, NH, VT and NY, recognized as the most progressive and
diverse Easter Seals nationally.
Easter Seals provides
exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or
special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live,
learn, work and play in their communities.
In 2006, we served more than 500
individuals of all ages and provided more than $350,000 in free and
reduced price services to children and adults in need.
For over 25 consecutive years, Easter Seals
has been first among member agencies of the National Health Council for
the percentage (90%) of dollars we allocate to providing direct
services.
The Development Manager
will join a team of enthusiastic fundraising professionals in NH, VT,
NY, and RI, and oversee all fundraising activities of Easter Seals
Maine. The successful candidate will be energetic, confident and
demonstrate success in relationship building, fundraising and volunteer
leadership development and planning.

Working with Board, Staff, current and alumni
client families, and corporate teams, plan and manage ESME’s Annual
Campaign
-
Oversee annual two events: Walk With Me and Gala
-
Steward/work with Century-21, Friendly’s, Kohl’s,
Best Buy, CVS, Staples, and other corporate sponsors
-
Develop other corporate prospects
-
Identify and steward direct mail donors and event
participants to convert them to major donors.

Organize monthly “Meet &
Greet” sessions at ESME’s office in
Portland.

Work with Program staff on foundation requests.

Work with NH Staff on touch points, including
newsletters and Annual Report.

Provide material for ESME website

Manage budgets
Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor’s degree, Minimum of 2 years
experience in fundraising

Familiar with donor tracking systems, preferably
Raisers Edge

Contacts in the
Portland area
-
Ability to multi-task
-
Some travel required
